Fall 2018 Financial Aid

Students who expect to start classes on August 27th (Full Semester, Term 1, and Session 1) should review the information below:

April 1: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.

  • August 10:  Consortium Agreement Deadline
  • September 2:    Book Voucher Deadline for students with a FS, T1, or S1 start date.
  • August 20:   If anticipated aid is not reflected on your account, alternative methods of payment must be established. 
  • August 23:  Last day to register for FS, T1, and S1 classes.
  • August 24:  FS, T1 and S1 courses dropped for non-payment.  Noon deadline for payments and letters of credit.
  • September 24: For students with a semester start date of August 27th (FS, T1, and S1), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

Students who expect to start classes on October 8th (Session 2) should review the information below:

  • September 1: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • October 14:     Book Voucher Deadline for students with a S2 start date.
  • October 1:  If anticipated aid is not reflected on your account, alternative methods of payment must be established. 
  • October 4:  Last day to register for S2 classes.
  • October 5:  S2 courses dropped for non-payment.  Noon deadline for payments and letters of credit.
  • October 22: For students with a semester start date of October 8th (S2), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

Students who expect to start classes on October 29th (Term 2) or expect to start classes on November 19th (Session 3) should review the information below:

  • September 1: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • November 4:     Book Voucher Deadline for students with a T2 start date.
  • October 22:  If anticipated aid is not reflected on your account for T2, alternative methods of payment must be established. 
  • October 25:  Last day to register for T2 and S3 classes.
  • October 26:  T2 courses dropped for non-payment.  Noon deadline for payments and letters of credit.
  • November 11:  If anticipated aid is not reflected on your account for S3 courses, alternative methods of payment must be established. 
  • November 16:  S3 courses dropped for non-payment.  Noon deadline for payments and letters of credit.
  • November 25:  Book Voucher Deadline for students with a S3 start date.
  • November 19: For students with a semester start date of October 29th (T2), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.
  • December 10: For students with a semester start date of November 19th (S3), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

* If the semester priority processing date is missed, your application will still be accepted and processed, however, we are unable to guarantee that your aid will be posted to your account by the bill due date. You can still take advantage of paying your tuition by utilizing the COSC payment plan in order to meet the College's payment deadline for tuition and fees.
