Spring 2018 Financial Aid

Students who expect to start classes on January 16th (Full Semester, Term 1, and Session 1) should review the information below:

  • December 18: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • January 4 : Consortium Agreement Deadline
  • January 10: If anticipated aid is not reflected on your account, alternative methods of payment must be established. 
  • January 11:  Last day to register for FS, T1, and S1 classes.
  • January 11:  Noon deadline for payments and letters of credit.
  • January 12:  FS, T1 and S1 classes dropped for non-payment.
  • January 16:  Full Semester, Term 1, and Session 1 classes start.
  • January 22 :    Book Voucher Deadline
  • February 13: For students with a semester start date of January 16th (FS, T1, and S1), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

Students who expect to start classes on February 26th (Session 2) should review the information below:

  • January 29: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • February 21:  If anticipated aid is not reflected on your account, alternative methods of payment must be established. 
  • February 22:  Last day to register for S2 classes.
  • February 22:  Noon deadline for payments and letters of credit.
  • February 23: S2 classes dropped for non-payment. 
  • February 26:  Session 2 classes start.
  • March 4: Book Voucher Deadline for students with a S2 start date.
  • March 20: For students with a semester start date of February 26th (S2), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

Students who expect to start classes on March 19th (Term 2), should review the information below:

  • February 19: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • March 14: If anticipated aid is not reflected on your account, alternative methods of payment must be established for T2 classes. 
  • March 15:  Last day to register for T2 classes.
  • March 15:  Noon deadline for payments and letters of credit.
  • March 16:  T2 classes dropped for non-payment.
  • March 19:  T2 classes start.
  • March 25:     Book Voucher Deadline for T2 students.
  • April 13: For students with a semester start date of March 19th (T2), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

Students who expect to start classes on April 9th (S3), should review the information below:

  • February 23: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • March 15:  Last day to register for S3 classes.
  • April 4:  If anticipated aid is not reflected on your account, alternative methods of payment must be established for S3 classes. 
  • April 5:  Noon deadline for payments and letters of credits for S3 classes. 
  • April 6:  S3 classes dropped for non-payment.
  • April 9:  S3 classes start.
  • April 15:  Book Voucher Deadline for S3 classes.
  • April 23: For students with a semester start date of April 9th (S3), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

* If the semester priority processing date is missed, your application will still be accepted and processed, however, we are unable to guarantee that your aid will be posted to your account by the bill due date. You can still take advantage of paying your tuition by utilizing the COSC payment plan in order to meet the College's payment deadline for tuition and fees.
