Spring 2019 Financial Aid

Students who expect to start classes on January 22nd (Full Semester, Term 1, and Session 1) should review the information below:

  • December 17: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • January 3 : Consortium Agreement Deadline
  • January 17:  Last day to register for FS, T1, and S1 classes.
  • January 18:  9:00 AM deadline for payments and letters of credit.  FS, T1, and S1 classes will be dropped for non-payment after deadline.
  • January 22:  Full Semester, Term 1, and Session 1 classes start.
  • January 28 :    Book Voucher Deadline
  • February 6: For students with a semester start date of January 16th (FS, T1, and S1), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

Students who expect to start classes on March 4th (Session 2) should review the information below:

  • January 28: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • February 28:  Last day to register for S2 classes.
  • March 1:  9:00 AM deadline for payments and letters of credit. S2 classes will be dropped for non-payment after deadline.
  • March 4:  Session 2 classes start.
  • March 10: Book Voucher Deadline for students with a S2 start date.
  • March 20: For students with a semester start date of March 4th (S2), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

Students who expect to start classes on March 25th (Term 2), should review the information below:

  • February 18: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • March 21:  Last day to register for T2 classes.
  • March 22:  9:00 AM deadline for payments and letters of credit.  T2 classes will be dropped after deadline for non-payment.
  • March 25:  T2 classes start.
  • March 31:     Book Voucher Deadline for T2 students.
  • April 10: For students with a semester start date of March 25th (T2), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

Students who expect to start classes on April 15th (S3), should review the information below:

  • February 22: Priority date* for submitting missing documents. Priority consideration of financial aid resources are given to students who apply ON-TIME.  After the deadline, financial aid awards will continue to be made, but all funding sources may not be available.
  • March 21:  Last day to register for S3 classes.
  • March 22:  9:00 AM deadline for payments and letters of credits for S3 classes.  S3 classes will be dropped after deadline for non-payment.
  • April 15:  S3 classes start.
  • April 21:  Book Voucher Deadline for S3 classes.
  • May 1: For students with a semester start date of April 15th (S3), financial aid disbursements will begin after confirmation of attendance.  Please note that refunds of financial aid will be issued 5-10 business days after this date.

* If the semester priority processing date is missed, your application will still be accepted and processed, however, we are unable to guarantee that your aid will be posted to your account by the bill due date. You can still take advantage of paying your tuition by utilizing the COSC payment plan in order to meet the College's payment deadline for tuition and fees.
